Christmas and New Year

Heyy haven't been able to post over past couple week cause iv been so busy working and training etc. But i thought i would post a blog before i head out to celebrate the new year.

Its been an awesome christmas for me, spent it with my family at my dads house. Was very good times. Especially the meal. It was amazing. I bloody love turkey. Anyways, whenever I was younger i was always about the presents at christmas. Didnt give a crap about anything else, i just wanted presents. But nowadays im just happy to see all my family. Was cool just chilling out with them all, watching movies and having a laugh. Made me realise how lucky I am that i have all my family around me and that nobody's away in Iraq or passed away or whatever.

Its the last day of 2009, and its been a good year for me. Iv learned a lot in 2009. Its been full of ups and downs but mostly ups. It been great having my friends around me most of the time, being supportive whenever i needed them the most. 2009 has also been a good year for rugby for me. Winning the Mildred Holland plate and also being named captain of the under 19s are 2 of the best achievements iv ever had playing the sport.
One of the best trips iv had in 2009 was to North Donegal with my brother Stephen and some of his friends to go surfing. Possibly the best weekend iv ever had. Full of great surf, drunken madness, an old pooch and campfires. How could you go wrong? Well i think iv wrote enough, hope everyone has a good night tonight and a safe 2010! Happy New Year!

Also just want to say Rest In Peace Paul Hazzard. You will always be remembered.
